Ever wonder what it's like to be on a film set? Well, so did we until this week! That's why we wanted to reach out and say hello, with an update on how things are shaping up with our documentary film for this year's annual event.
As you already know, for our 11th Annual Event on Sept. 30th, Conservation From Your Car: A Night At the Drive-In With The Conservancy, we are showing a documentary film focused on our mission. From amazing aerial footage of some of our most important easements, to personal interviews with staff and local ranchers, this silver screen experience will give you an in-depth view into our organization and the very impact YOU help create with your support. We have never been able to tell our stories quite like this before, and we cannot wait for you to see the film.
The Conservancy staff and board of directors spent this ENTIRE week filming out on our easements to bring our mission to life... just for you. With a tranquil morning spent at Badger Creek Ranch, an adventurous outing fishing on the Arkansas River, an epic afternoon at Tri Lazy W Ranch, and so much more, the filming experience we had on set this week was nothing short of inspiring. We gathered eye-opening interviews from land owners, our staff and board, and folks just like you, to tell the stories that convey just how important land and water conservation is in today's world.
