Central Colorado Conservancy is a nationally accredited land trust based in Salida, Colorado.  Our mission is to protect the lands, waters and quality of life of Central Colorado as our communities face pressure and rapid growth. The Natural Resource Conservation Manager will be responsible for advancing conservation and natural resource programs and providing technical assistance to private landowners in Lake County, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to take the lead role in enhancing the Conservancy’s land conservation partnerships in the region, with a focus on developing project implementation and management capacity for the Lake County Conservation District (LCCD). The Natural Resource Conservation Manager also will collaborate with the Conservancy’s Agriculture Programs Manager to build relationships between the UACD and LCCD and implement regional, district-led conservation programs. Additionally, this position provides a supporting role to the Conservation Program Manager with respect to the Conservancy’s open space and conserved lands initiatives in Lake County.

 

This exciting position is a partnership with Central Colorado Conservancy, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), LCCD and Lake County Government.
